28 years of enterprise security — now the world's only dedicated CAD file IP protection platform
Secude was founded in 1996 as a joint venture between SAP and the Fraunhofer Institute — two of the most respected names in enterprise software and applied research. It spent its first 15 years as a trusted SAP security partner, building Single Sign-On for SAP before that product was acquired by SAP in 2011. In 2019, Secude pivoted to its current mission: solving the previously unaddressed problem of intellectual property leakage through CAD files.
Today, Secude is a certified Microsoft partner and the only platform that extends Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP) directly into the application layer of proprietary CAD file formats — Autodesk, Siemens NX, PTC Creo, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Dassault, and more. With offices in Luzern (Switzerland), New York (USA), and India, and clients including Fortune 500 and DAX-listed companies in Defence, Manufacturing, and AECO sectors, Secude protects the most sensitive design data in some of the world’s most security-conscious industries.
A 20-year brand loved in Chennai — invisible online
The Majestic Furniture had built its reputation the traditional way — through showroom experience, word of mouth, and the quality of the product itself. But the Indian furniture buyer had shifted. Research, discovery, and increasingly purchase decisions were moving online — to Google search, Instagram, and eCommerce platforms. Meanwhile, competitors who were younger brands but digitally native were capturing the organic and paid search traffic that Majestic’s 20 years of product expertise deserved.
The challenge was comprehensive: build a brand identity that could compete with premium furniture brands online, create a website that could convert the high- consideration furniture buyer who takes weeks to research before purchasing, and build a multi-channel digital marketing engine that could drive both online sales and footfall to the Royapettah and ECR showrooms simultaneously.
Brand & website challenges
- No cohesive brand identity — the visual presentation across showrooms, online, and social media was inconsistent
- 123+ products needed to be presented online with the quality of a luxury eCommerce experience, not a basic catalogue
- The founder story — Tanveer's global sourcing, the family legacy, 20+ years in Chennai — was not being used as a trust and conversion asset
- Customisation — a key Majestic differentiator — was not being communicated as a capability online
- Two physical showrooms needed local SEO presence built for both Royapettah and ECR locations
Brand & design challenges
- Low organic visibility for high-intent Chennai furniture queries — "sofa shop Chennai," "wooden bed Chennai," "furniture store Royapettah"
- No paid acquisition strategy — competitors were capturing high-intent Google and Instagram furniture buyers through ads
- Social media channels were underperforming — inconsistent posting, no brand voice, low engagement
- No content strategy — the brand had no editorial presence to educate buyers or build organic authority in the home furnishing space
- Performance issues on the website were increasing bounce rates and reducing conversion from paid traffic
