Soul Storries is a private luxury villa estate nestled in the hills of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand — one of India’s most beloved hill destinations. The estate offers five exquisitely designed villas, each with a distinct personality and name, a curated wellness programme spanning
yoga retreats, spa treatments, and transformational healing journeys, Kafuli Cafe — a signature dining experience — and bespoke event spaces for destination weddings, corporate offsites, and intimate celebrations.

 Positioned at ₹15,000–₹60,000 per night, Soul Storries occupies the premium end of the Mussoorie hospitality market — a destination for urban Indian families, couples, and wellness seekers who want luxury without losing proximity to nature, and stillness without sacrificing experience. The estate was a new entrant to the market with no existing digital presence, no brand identity, and no visibility — starting from zero in a competitive and increasingly crowded luxury hill station segment.

A world-class property — invisible to the guests it was built for

Soul Storries launched into a luxury hill station market that was both highly competitive and deeply fragmented online. Mussoorie attracts millions of visitors annually, but luxury villa-stay seekers are a distinct and discerning segment — they don’t book on OTAs the way budget travellers do, they research extensively, they are influenced by aesthetics, and they need to trust a property before committing to a high-value direct booking.

The challenge was to build a brand and a digital ecosystem from scratch — one that could capture discovery across multiple channels (search, social, influencer, Google Maps), convey the estate’s luxury and wellness positioning without resorting to generic hospitality clichés, and ultimately convert intent into direct enquiries and bookings at a premium price point.

Brand identity

Built the complete Soul Storries visual identity from scratch — a nature-inspired luxury aesthetic rooted in the Himalayan palette. Developed serif + sans-serif typography pairing for editorial and experiential contexts. Created five distinct sub-identities for each villa: Flora, Amaraa, Aurora, Aura, and Athena — each with its own visual personality while remaining cohesive under the master brand.

SEO strategy

Built a keyword universe of 300+ terms across Mussoorie luxury villas, wellness retreats, destination weddings, and corporate offsites — segmented by search intent. Designed a long- form content strategy optimised for both discovery and conversion. Implemented structured data: LodgingBusiness, Hotel, LocalBusiness, FAQPage, and Event schema.

Performance marketing

Launched Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns — search ads targeting high-intent luxury villa and wellness queries, display retargeting for website visitors, dedicated wedding and corporate event campaigns, and seasonal bid strategies aligned with Mussoorie's peak travel periods. Tracked forms, WhatsApp clicks, and calls.

Website design & development

Designed and developed a full-screen, immersive WordPress website using Elementor — driven by video and photography. Built individual villa pages, wellness programme pages, wedding and events sections, and Kafuli Cafe. Integrated booking and enquiry CTAs throughout, added Google Maps integration, and ensured mobile-first responsive design across all breakpoints.

Set up and optimised Google Business Profile with 100+ high-quality images, a structured review acquisition strategy, directory listings across travel and hospitality platforms, and location-specific content targeting Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, and nearby hill station queries.

Influencer marketing

Partnered with travel and wellness creators for hosted stays — generating content across Reels, Stories, and posts.
