Svalz was not built in a boardroom. It was built across 13 years of field experience — in silos, in mills, in the unforgiving heat of tropical grain storage facilities where the stakes are measured in tonnes of spoiled harvest and seasons of lost income. Founder Pari Mamallan, a Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s degree from TFH Berlin, spent over a decade working globally across cranes, silos, and grain storage systems — studying precisely how grain behaves inside modern silo complexes and where existing cooling technology fails.

Svalz draws its name and spirit from the Svalbard Global Seed Vault — the world’s most trusted symbol of agricultural preservation. “SVAL” means “cool” in Norwegian.
